At Intellectual Homes we pride ourselves on making time to reach out to our local community, helping when possible, coaching youth sports, and by donating our time. Yet, after several years of making informal donations to charities, we decided to truly become a part of programs that made a difference.

In 2009 we began our own community outreach program, called Food for Trees, working closely with our colleagues, friends, family, and clients to provide food donations to local area food banks during the holiday season. This program not only provides truck-loads of food to Share of McLean and to the food pantry at McLean High School, but it also provides some holiday cheer to those who participate. Please click here for more information on this program.

As of 2017 thankfully, the program has grown to such a large event that we couldn’t manage on our own.  We have turned the management of Food For Trees over to the McLean Rotary, if you would like more information please either use our Contact Us page and include “Food for Trees” in the subject line, or contact the McLean Rotary directly by clicking here.

Thank you to everyone who has either purchased a tree, made a donation, volunteered your time passing out tree’s, or have otherwise supported places like the Share of McLean.
